Practice Associate (Full time) - Rotunda office
Under the supervision of the Practice Operations Coordinator, coordinates the daily operating functions of a 3 provider medical office including customer service, physical plant, internal and external flow of information and appropriate communications, personnel management, and prescribed purchasing, inventory, and specified fiscal functions. Individual will insure operating efficiency and address problems or issues. Position is a working manager position: In addition to administrative responsibilities, individual will work at the Front Desk functioning as a Receptionist and also function as a Medical Assistant when necessary.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a medical office as a Medical Assistant, Administrative Assistant or other relevant medical office experience. Individual must have excellent interpersonal skills and be proficient with computers. Management experience preferred.
Opportunity for Medical Assistants with experience to join this multi-site, multi-specialty practice. You will work closely with the physicians in direct patient care to include performing vitals, exam room set-up and break-down, diagnostic and screening tests, triaging messages, administering shots, and all of the things that come up during a busy day in a medical office. A mindset to provide quality patient care and customer service are a must. Offices are located throughout the Baltimore City and County area.

Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program and/or a minimum of 2 years related experience. Able to physically assist patients onto and off of examination tables. Must be computer literate with knowledge of electronic medical records and electronic practice management system a plus. NextGen experience preferred. Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail required.
